What is counselling?
Counselling is a form of talking therapy, where a qualified counsellor will listen and help you to reflect on your issues, as well as offering a new perspective on your issues, encouraging your self-development and assisting you in self-awareness in a place that is non-judgemental, empathetic and understanding above all else.
What can you help with?
I’m experienced in helping clients with many issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, abuse, relationship issues, work stress, low self-esteem, and childhood-related problems.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on what the individual’s needs are, and we can discuss this during the first session when I will do an assessment. Some clients may only need 6 sessions whereas others may need more long-term therapy depending on the issues that a client may have. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy to my clients.
